Apostolic DevotionsAgreement
These terms are an agreement between you and Apostolic Path LLC ("we", "us"), the publisher of Apostolic Devotions. By using the app or this website you agree to them and to our privacy policy. The app is free. If you download it from the App Store or Google Play, Apple's or Google's own terms also apply to the download. Apple and Google are not responsible for the app or these terms.
Accounts
- An account is optional. You need one only to sync across devices or use the prayer wall.
- You sign in with Apple or Google. Keep that account secure; you are responsible for activity under your account.
- You must be at least 13 years old (or the older age your country requires) to create an account.
- You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Account → Delete account.
Our content
The devotions, reading plans, prayers, artwork and design of the app are owned by Apostolic Path LLC or licensed to us. You may read, listen to and share them for personal, non-commercial use, including with the app's share cards. Please do not republish them in bulk or sell them.
The King James Version and the other Bible texts in the app are used under the public-domain and open licenses listed on our credits.
Your content
Your journal entries, notes, highlights and prayers belong to you. We store them only to sync them back to you, as described in the privacy policy.
When you post on the prayer wall, you give us permission to store and display that post to other users of the app for as long as it remains posted. You can delete it at any time.
Prayer wall community rules
The prayer wall is a place to carry one another's burdens (Galatians 6:2). We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. When you post, you agree not to:
- post anything hateful, harassing, threatening, sexual, violent or obscene;
- mock, attack or argue with other believers, churches or religions;
- share anyone's private information, including phone numbers, addresses, or details about another person without their permission;
- post links, advertising, fundraising requests, spam or scams;
- pretend to be someone else, or post on someone else's behalf in a way that misleads;
- post anything illegal or that encourages harm.
Posts are checked by an automatic filter before they appear, and some are held for review.
Reporting and moderation
- Every post has a Report option. Posts that receive several reports, or any report of self-harm, are hidden immediately until a moderator reviews them.
- We review reports within 24 hours and remove content that breaks these rules.
- We may suspend or remove the account of anyone who breaks these rules, and remove their posts, without notice.
- To report a concern privately, email support@apostolicdevotions.app.
Not a substitute for care
The app offers encouragement from scripture, not medical, legal, financial or mental-health advice. Please seek help from your pastor and from qualified professionals. If you or someone you know is in danger or thinking about suicide, call or text 988 (the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline in the United States), or contact your local emergency number.
Disclaimers and limits
We work hard to keep the app accurate and available, but it is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data you have not synced or exported. Where the law does not allow these limits, they apply only as far as the law permits. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.
Changes and ending
We may update these terms as the app grows. If a change is significant we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. You may stop using the app at any time. We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms.
